Incoloy 800 is equivalent to N08800, 1.4876 and X10NiCrAlTi 32-20. Incoloy 800H is equivalent to N08810, 1.4958 and X5NiCrAlTi31-20. Incoloy 800HT is equivalent to N08810, 1.4959 and X8NiCrAlTi32-21. Alloy 800, 800H, 800HT tube is a nickel-based alloy designed for corrosion environments. The base elements in three alloys are the same, only carbon, aluminum and titanium differ slightly. Due to the content of nickel, thes alloy resists stress corrosion cracking, and maintains a ductile, austenitic structure. The chromium in the alloy imparts both aqueous and heat resistance. Iron provides resistance to internal oxidation.

Mechanical Property

Incoloy alloy 800, 800H, and 800HT tube is designed for high-temperature applications, with each variant offering distinct mechanical properties to meet specific industrial needs. Nickel alloy 800 is designed to excel in general high-temperature settings, typically up to around 1100°F (593°C). 800H material is a modification of incoloy 800 with controlled carbon content (0.05-0.10%), which enhances its high-temperature performance, improved creep and stress rupture properties, making it suitable for higher temperatures above 1100°F (593°C). Alloy 800HT represents a further refinement in this series with higher carbon, aluminum and titanium, offers the highest creep rupture strength among the three, making it particularly well-suited for static applications where sustained exposure to elevated temperatures is a concern.

Main Features

  • Corrosion Resistance: Incoloy 800, 800H, 800HT contains the same nickel, chromium, and iron contents and generally display similar corrosion resistance. All three alloys exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation at high temperatures. They are highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-containing environments, due to their high nickel content. This makes them suitable for applications involving high-temperature aqueous media and aggressive chemical environments.


  • High-temperature Stability: Three alloys are renowned for their high-temperature stability, primarily attributed to their unique material properties and alloy compositions. They are characterized by high melting points, solid solution strengthening, oxidation resistance, creep resistance, and thermal expansion control, which together enable the tubes to maintain structural integrity and esist deformation. Moreover, they can protect against material degradation in high-temperature environments, enhancing the durability of ritical components subjected to extreme heat stress.    


  • Resistance to Carburization: Alloy 800, 800H, 800HT are designed to provide excellent resistance to carburization, achieved through surface passivation, alloy composition optimization, carbon diffusion inhibition, and long-term protection against material degradation. These features collectively allow the tube making it a reliable choice for environments where carbon penetration could compromise material integrity, making them suitable for high-temperature applications where exposure to carbon-rich environments is common.
